Our balm is chemical-free and GMO-free with nothing unnatural and has only three whole-food ingredients, all selected from the finest sources to insure its superior therapeutic quality:

1) Tallow from 100% grass-fed cows that are happy, healthy, and humanely raised without cruel feed lots and cruel slaughterhouses and without pesticides, drugs, hormones, or chemicals of any kind.
2) Certified organic first cold-pressed extra virgin olive oil from a family orchard in the valley of Sparta, Greece; they cultivate; they harvest; they press; they export; nobody else interferes, eliminating any chance of contamination with other oils.
3) The most pure and therapeutic essential oils available, produced to the highest standards in the industry, steam-distilled from plants grown at the highest standards and not adulterated, extended, synthesized, or distilled using chemicals or high temperatures and pressure; expertly blended and specifically selected because of their long-standing tradition of promoting optimal skin health.

This is how people cared for their skin before chemicals. This is the whole food of skin care. Don't put anything on your body that you wouldn't put in your body! New Nightly Ritual

Posted by Jemma on Mar 1st 2021

I have been learning more about health & the traditional diets per Weston A. Price over the last year in the absence of any real health guidance during the plague, and I am so happy to have stumbled upon tallow balm in a talk by the founder of Vintage Tradition. I'm still getting a little used to the hint of tallow in the aroma, but I have to say this feels so nice on my skin. It's... delicious. I've used it after sun exposure to prevent burns and it is helping my perennially chapped lips soften. I use this every night, and a calcium bentonite mask in the mornings if my skin feels oily (my skin has always been very oily, not a result of the tallow). So far, I really like this and am grateful to have a skin care solution I feel good about long term. Woohoo!

I have pretty bad eczema and thus I’ve been on the search for anything to help give me relief, especially in this dry winter season! This def fits the smells clean, rugged, and outdoorsy but fresh at the same time! I’m thankful to have found a product that’s not only soothing but also my new go to skin food!

Excellent for hands, elbows, knees and more!

The scent is different and not flowery. What I noticed was the effect on my skin. It seemed to restore the skin better than other tallow balms I have used before. I recommend it for sure. Start with the 2 oz. portion and work up from there. I have also tried Mild Manly and Embrace. All are great!
