Unscented Beef Tallow
I suffer from severe Eczema and dermatitis and this has been the only product to keep my face moisturized without it looking dry with scaly patches. I have used many other brands of face moisturizers and ointments for my face in the past and all of them made my face burned or didn't trap enough moisture that my skin needed. Vintage Tradition tallow balm is the only product I've used that didn't give me a burning sensation and it also hydrates and keeps my face moist even until the next morning. My skin absorbs the beef tallow without it looking or feeling overwhelming oily. I can attest by the fact that I could feel a difference on my face the next morning of using it with just one use. I will never buy any product for my face now that I've discovered vintage tradition tallow balm since it's been the only thing that works for me. If there was an option to show my skin before and after using beef tallow I would be more than glad to show how it has completely changed my skin condition and the confidence it has given me.

Seborrheic dermatitis
I have Seborrheic dermatitis (also known as seb-derm) which includes dry skin, flaking skin, red patches of skin, all of which has seriously affected my self confidence. Eventually, I found a work around which included using an acidic mixture on my face (to help my skin absorb whatever comes next), and then applying a specific lotion. With this tallow balm, I have no need of any of that. I have no need to desecrate my skin so that the lotion applied will become more bioavailable. This tallow balm is the only product I use on my face. It is extremely bioavailable. The glow is outstanding. I feel like I'm 10 years younger. Not to mention that its completely natural, with a great smell as well!

Unscented tallow
This has been a godsend for treating atopic dermatitis. It has the effect of restoring the rough hyde-like texture to something much more like skin, and even soothes it for several hours before rewashing and reapplying is called for.

The ONLY thing that works!
I don't even know what to say. It has been a long road fighting my seborrheic dermatitis. Hydrocortisone products worked but you can only use those for a few days, so if I had a wedding or something to go to, I would just use that for the week before, then stop. There were no plant based products that did anything. Zinc products did nothing to help. I have scrubbed my face to get rid of the flaming every day for as long as I could remember. All around my nostrils has been non-stop flaking and peeling for so, so long. Enter Vintage Traditions Tallow Balm. I am 2 months flake-free. It took a while for my face to completely clear up but my skin has never looked better! No acne, no redness, no irritation, no disgusting flakes of skin in sight. I can't thank you enough for creating and selling this product! You've given me back my confidence. I can wear makeup without fear of it slowly flaking away, but I can also go fresh faced and still feel great! Yes, it's a little difficult to spread, but once it warms up it melts right in. If you are struggling with your skin, please give this a try. Give it at least a month to start really doing its job. Healing isn't an overnight thing!

Moisturizing and soothing for chronic eczema
After 20 years of chronic hives, eczema, and dermatitis, I decided to invest tremendous time and effort in addressing the real gut and liver issues behind these (instead of suppressing with oral steroids). Working with a wonderful chiropractor has helped immensely as we've gradually uncovered food sensitivities and begun a major healing process in the gut and liver. In the meantime, the daily eczema remains--with many sleepless nights of itching skin that is so very dry, scaly, flaky, and overall depleted of nutrients. Plant-based oils and balms did very little to really return the moisture to the areas that so desperately needed it. After reading about the effects of tallow balm for eczema, I ordered VT's Almost Unscented, and I'm so happy with the results! 1-2 daily applications, particularly following bathing, have returned deep moisturization and vibrance to my skin within one week of use. It also works well to soothe and calm down itching for a brief time--I wouldn't say it "stops" the itch altogether--but the way it moisturizes so deeply certainly helps reduce itching and promote real healing. I will be ordering this regularly for myself and my family!

I am a physician and highly recommended the Vintage Tradition balms after trying them for myself and family. I regularly recommend them to patients suffering from eczema and other forms of atopic dermatitis that need an emollient for their dry/irritated skin. The high quality tallow Vintage uses is better than anything you can get in your local store--without all the unwanted chemicals. The highly saturated fatty acids create a water impermeable membrane that is truly nature's remedy for dry skin. The scented balms contain nice essential oils that make them smell great and feel even more soothing. The balms goes on very nicely without leaving any unwanted residue feeling. I use it myself for my hands because they are always dry from constantly washing them in between seeing patients in the hospital. You're skin will feel amazing with this stuff. I have been using this balm on my family for several years now. I have found so many uses for it. As infants, two of my children got rashes on their torso. The pediatrician called it atopic dermatitis and prescribed a cream. Not only was I uncomfortable with the ingredients list of the cream, it didn't really help. So I decided to try Vintage Tradition Tallow Balm and it works like a charm. I have also used it for their drool rashes and any dry skin they get in the winter.
