I had been getting extremely dry, flaking and peeling skin around my mouth and chin area which wasn't helped by anything I'd been putting on it. I was embarrassed to see people because my chin area always looked like it was peeling off! I found the Epic Glow sample I'd bought in a sample pack a few months prior and gave it a shot. Within a day, my flakey, dry, peeling skin looked completely fine! Soft and no more flaking or peeling. I used V.T balms years ago and forgot how incredible they were. Softens without leaving greasy lotion
I hate hand lotion, hate that greasy feeling and so my hands often suffer from dryness especially in the winter. But, this product soaks into my skin creating a wonderful softness without any of that greasy lotion feeling! Love it! Highly recommend it!

I take medicine that dries me out pretty badly and drink a ton of water, but now with fishing (in the saltwater) beginning, my hands dry out really bad. It gets to the point that I can literally peel skin off my fingertips and down the fingers a bit as well. Look at how your Epic Glow balm healed my finger!

It works
This balm is indeed amazing. I get extremely chapped hands in the winter time, with cracked skin that bleeds. I work with cardboard at my job, which just whisks away the moisture from my skin. This product soothes my skin, soaks in deep, and lasts a long time. I also have to wash my hands a lot at work, and this balm lasts through those washings. When they say a little goes a long way, they are correct, compared to the usual lotion I use, which takes gobs of it to do anything. That usual lotion also clings a long time on my palms and fingers, getting everything I touch all greasy. This balm soaks into my skin in a matter of minutes and doesn't get all over everything I touch. I do not eat beef, but I am really impressed with the integrity of this company in how they source the tallow for their products. I highly recommend it.

Amazing for aging skin!
I have very dry skin, and being 55 doesn't help. It didn't matter what moisturizer I used, within a few hours of application my skin would be tight and dry. I discovered Tallow Balm, and it was a game changer. I applied it in the morning and didn't need another application all day for my skin to feel moist. I love the scents (I've tried Mild Manly, Outdoor Spice & Embrace) and the fact that there are no questionable or toxic ingredients, it's 100% natural.

I have had scalp issues with eczema/psoriasis with a dry, flaky skin on my forehead which drove me nuts! I've tried so many things on my scalp and for almost 5 years have not added any styling products to my hair. I am in absolute love with VT Tallow Balms. Unlike any of the lotion, potions or oils I've tried throughout my life, Tallow Balm actually does what you say it does –it moisturizes deeply, lasts long and a little goes a long way. I live in NYC and every winter like clockwork I dread the cold, dry weather because it causes the skin between my fingers to crack and bleed. My cuticles also deteriorate and peel causing extreme pain especially during my hot yoga classes. My lips are left dry, irritated and windblown. Ouch! These problems have worsened every year. I remember the day I received my order of Tallow Balm. I had this very specific spot on my left pointer finger that felt a lot like fine grain sandpaper (so un-ladylike!). I wanted to use this as a 'test spot' and thought it would be some sort of miracle to heal skin this rough in the dead of winter. I applied the Tallow Balm on day one and couldn't feel the rough patch by day two. It has not returned since. My skin results this winter? For the first time in 5 NYC winters, I have healed the dry, cracked spots between my fingers and the cuticle issues. My lips have stayed mostly healthy and moisturized. In general with daily use, I notice that scars heal beautifully with the balm and I like using it as a facial moisturizer. During the winter, my hands get so dry they often crack and bleed. As soon as I received the tallow balm, I scrubbed my hands with a fingernail brush to remove the dry skin and applied the tallow balm several times before going to bed. Phenomenal
These balms have repaired my dry skin overnight. I don't think I had appreciated how dry my skin was before using them. I suppose I got used to my skin over the years and when I thought it held moisture and was healthy, in fact it was only superficially moisturised. It sounds bizarre but I can actually feel that my skin accepts the tallow and they work synergistically together. It doesn't feel greasy at all when it sinks in. I've always hated hand cream as even when it absorbed it would feel greasy. But this sinks in so well and seemingly to layers of the skin that other products never reached. My skin looks better in every way possible and continues to improve. I'm a complete convert for life. Also the slightly manly smell is my favourite, although all the scents are elegant and lovely.

I just found a sample jar of Tallow Balm tucked way in the back of a cabinet. I've been glopping on all kinds of guck to help my poor dry hands. Well, I'm now typing with tallowed hands. I hardly had to apply any of this at all, and it's like I have new hands. I've been using other lotions like mad, and applying again, and again, and again with no luck. Use it!
This stuff is awesome. I buy it for my 2 year old son that gets horrible dry skin in the cold winter months. Last year it was cracked and bleeding and looked so uncomfortable. After using the balm for maybe 3 days after his bath, his skin is smooth and no longer scaly and cracking. Totally worth a try for any and all skin problems or just for normal daily use. Works like a charm!

Best natural product I have found for deep moisturizing
I have had severely dry skin on my face and body and I've tried many many products both natural and not, trying to restore the moisture and firmnesss of my skin. Having some severe allergies and sensitivities it's been difficult finding a good product that works. Came across this product while scouring the internet for solutions for a bad sunburn and have used it for a few months now. It instantly worked to make my skin soft and smooth on my face, helped heal and soothe my sunburned skin quickly, and it's also helping with my dry cracked heels from summer heat and pool dehydration.

This is the best thing ive ever found for my skin!!
I've struggled with dry skin and acne at same time forever. I've tried everything and never could get rid of one without irritating the other. I decided to try this after a friend recommended it and I AM SO GLAD I DID!!! No weird chemicals to irritate no drying out just awesome moisturizing and my face is now clear and soft!!! I put 2 lemon essential oil drops in it run between my palms and put on face in the am and at night. I am so happy to have clear skin and no dry peeling parts either! Thank you!!!!!!

Pure skin care
My daughter-in-law introduced me to Vintage Tradition and I've been a loyal customer ever since. I'm a particular fan of the Tallow Balm and use it faithfully every night for both feet and hands to combat dryness and splitting, especially in very cold and dry climates. It's certainly the best product I've ever found to keep skin completely covered against extreme dryness. Don't know what I'd do without it! I have had problems with dry and irritated skin around my mouth area since I was 14. This balm is unbelievable. I really did not think it would be so absorbable and so healthy for my skin. Now, even if my wash my face with strong soap, the skin doesn't just dry out and burn. From my past experiences, no matter how much I spent on skin care creams, none of them really worked, like expensive "organic" formulas from Burt's Bees, Avalon Organics, and so on. I felt they never penetrated my skin, so my skin would not really heal, but this Tallow Balm does penetrate. And I was afraid of tallow derived from cows, because previously some products containing stearic acid like Nivea balms always gave me acne, but no acne breakout from this product. I thank you from the bottom of my heart. Finally, I feel like my skin feels and looks healthy. Nothing before this worked. Anyone with skin problems like me ought to know just how beneficial this product can be to repair years of dry skin.

I don't use the term "life-changing" loosely, but I'd like to pull out the trump card here and say that the Vintage Tradition Tallow Balm literally changed my life (or at least my skin). Last winter, I had a terrible case of dry, chapped skin. Thanks to the dry, cold weather, it started getting so bad that my shoulders and upper arms were completely covered in patches of dry skin. No matter what form of over-the-counter lotion I bought, it just would not disappear. But then I found Vintage Tradition Tallow Balm.
